The Camper Code is a joint initiative of „Camping Berner Oberland · Made in Bern“. Fifteen sentences that distil how campers should behave — and which we at Aaregg fully endorse.

… plan my trip before departure and check the route and the general road conditions.

… don't just set off in peak holiday season but book my campsite in time.

… spend the night only on official campsites or pitches.

… respect reception opening hours and arrive at the agreed times. I check with my hosts whether an early or late arrival is possible and arrange it with them where needed.

… always observe the campsite's house rules and respect the privacy of fellow campers.

… keep my surroundings and shared spaces tidy and clean.

… do not leave my children unattended on the campsite.
