2. Terms & legal bases
We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. Terms such as „personal data“ or „processing“ follow the definitions of those laws.
3. Data categories
We typically process the following data:
- Contact data: name, address, e-mail, phone, year of birth (where needed).
- Booking data: stay dates, number of guests, vehicle plates, payment status.
- Browser and usage data: IP address, user agent, pages visited (anonymised).
- Transaction data: invoices, deposits, balance payments.
4. Communication
When you contact us by e-mail, phone or the contact form, we store the data you transmit for as long as is necessary to handle your request.
5. Applications
We use application documents exclusively to assess suitability and delete or return them after the procedure ends, unless an employment relationship is established.
6. Data security
Transmissions are encrypted (SSL/TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.
7. International transfers
Data are processed primarily in Switzerland or the EEA. Where third countries are involved (e.g. via international services), transfers are made only with appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).
8. Your rights
- Access to the data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure, provided no statutory retention periods apply.
- Restriction of processing in certain cases.
- Data portability in a structured, common format.
- Objection to processing for direct marketing or profiling.

9. Cookies & local storage
We use technically necessary cookies for session management and, where applicable, analytical cookies (Matomo, Google Analytics — see section 11). You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
10. Server logs
When you visit the website, the web server automatically records the IP address, date, time and URL accessed. Logs are anonymised after 30 days.
11. Tracking pixels & statistics
If active: reach measurement via Matomo (Swiss hosting) or Google Analytics with IP anonymisation. Data are used exclusively for statistical evaluation.
12. Social media
We maintain profiles on __FB__ and __IG__. The respective platform providers' privacy policies apply there.
13. Third-party services & maps
External services such as map and booking embeds load content from the respective provider (e.g. Google Maps, secureholiday.net). Personal data may be transmitted to the provider when these contents are loaded.
14. Video surveillance
Video surveillance may be carried out in the entrance area of the campsite for security purposes. Recordings are overwritten after a short period unless an incident needs to be documented.
15. Final provisions
This privacy policy was drawn up in April 2024 and may be adapted to changed legal or technical conditions. The current version on this page applies.
