History
Aaregg has grown as a family business. We have never sold the campsite, never handed it over to a chain, never repackaged it as an investment. Seestrasse 28a, 3855 Brienz — the address hasn't changed, neither has the ownership.
Marcel and Susanna Zysset run the site as managing directors. Their son Luca works in reception and administration. That's the honest answer to why we decide what we decide: because our name is at the front door.
Louis.
Four paws. One main job: welcoming.
Unofficial door-opener, official favourite of the kids on the playground.
Louis is the reason we also have Captain Louis Pirate Land — we named the playground after him. If you meet him at reception, just ruffle his fur. He won't ask for your booking code.

Aaregg has been in the family for generations. Marcel and Susanna Zysset run the site today, son Luca works in reception and administration. Decisions are made at the kitchen table, not in a boardroom.
Sustainability without the label
Swisstainable member, member of Swisscamps, electricity billed per kWh instead of flat rate, our own Camper Code instead of just house rules. No greenwashing, no plastic palm trees.
Quality, because five stars don't stay by themselves
The five stars on our letterhead aren't accidental. Sanitary facilities, safety, service, infrastructure — everything is measured continually. We keep the rating because we have to earn it again each year.
