Where we are
On the south shore of Lake Brienz. Framed by a wood-carving village, waterfalls and a few thousand metres of Alps.
Aaregg sits on the south shore of Lake Brienz at Seestrasse 28a in Brienz — 800 m from the village centre with railway station, shops and restaurants. The lake begins where the lawn ends. Mixed forest and rock walls rise behind the site; in front, Lake Brienz opens out toward Interlaken.
We hold a 5-star rating, which means: a wheelchair-accessible sanitary building, a restaurant, a harbour, a bistro with a shop, a dog shower, four washing machines with app reservation, an inflatable water park in the lake. What it doesn't mean: scheduled animation, a swimming pool, artificial turf or plastic palms.

Aareggstube
The restaurant belongs to the campground — and is open to everyone.
Aareggstube is the campground's own restaurant — open to everyone, not just camping guests. Their own kitchen, their own menu, their own opening hours. Seasonal, regional, no camping clichés. You don't have to be a camping guest to book — and you don't have to explain yourself if you are.

Shop & bistro
Fresh bread in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon. Plus everything you forgot to pack — pasta to sun cream.
Sanitary & infrastructure
A modern, wheelchair-accessible, family-friendly sanitary building. Heated April through October.
